Slick Chicks teamed up with Angel City Sports to celebrate Jamey Perry, an accomplished writer and champion adaptive athlete. Empowered by Slick Chicks adaptive wear Jamey balances life as a mother, writer, and athlete; exploring what it means to celebrate disability — an “ingenious way to live.”

Jamey Perry is a TV writer, actor, athlete, wife and mom. She is a member of the Writers Guild of America (WGA), where she also serves as the vice chair of the WGA’s Disabled Writers Committee. She’ll try any adaptive sport you let her, but her favorites are wheelchair basketball, WCMX & sitting volleyball. She lives in Los Angeles with her family.

Angel City Sports

Angel City Sports' (ACS) mission is to improve the social, emotional, and physical well-being of children, adults, and veterans with physical disabilities by providing free, year-round access to adaptive sports training, equipment,and competitive opportunities. ACS is working to omit obstacles to participation in adaptive sports while simultaneously helping our athletes reach their full potential through mentorship, community service, and so much more. ACS currently supports and runs the only women’s wheelchair basketball program in California.
